You will be welcomed with a smile from our front desk. You will made to feel right at home. If not already completed, paperwork from our Internet website, you’ll be asked to fill out paperwork while seated in our reception area. If you’ve never been to a chiropractor, you’ll have the opportunity to watch a short 5 minute video to explain the chiropractic process more thoroughly.
Dr. Oliverio will come to you in a private room for a verbal consultation, history, and examination. After the examination, x-ray study of the primary complaint area will be taken. You will asked to schedule a second appointment for a report of your findings.
Dr. Oliverio will show you your x-rays the second visit and discuss your problem and the types of treatments prescribed for you. Many patient’s ask why can’t I have a treatment on my first visit. The answer is simply that we need time to develop your x-rays and study them for the most accurate diagnosis and treatment prescription plan. This will be true for 90% of the time, as there are always exceptions to the rule. Plan on one hour to one and a half hours for your first visit to the office.
Your insurance will be verified and benefits explained. However, your insurance coverage is a contract between you, the patient, and the insurance company. You are ultimately responsible for services rendered. As always, payment for service is expected at the time-of-service, unless prior arrangements have been made.
